Sujatha Evv The atman is beyond the body-brain-mind complex which stores all knowledge (gyanam). When one is the atman one is Brahman which has no properties, as there is no ego; the only thing is bliss.

Shantanu Panigrahi: Sujatha Evv Brahman is Absolute Reality. When one is Brahman that Reality translates itself to truth. Brahma Satya Jagat mithya. The truth is indestructible. So if you are truthful, honest and open you are the Self (atman) which is the same as Brahman - indestructible truth.
So what is there? There is only the content of the Absolute (Brahman) as truth (Reality) No observer, no experienoe, just truth. That is not nothingness. It is everything.
Consciousness is of the body-mind complex and so one is not free because one carries this baggage. Only on Brahman as atman is one free.
Do not think: thinking does not bring knowledge only delusions; just live in truth and by the absolute truth that is God who created the universe (atman=Brahman).
The atman (Self) is the gateway to God Sri Krishna-Durga through the universe (Brahman) by the vehicle of truth and dharma.
God Sri Krishna-Durga is the Supreme Truth present in Creation (Brahman) dormantly but can awaken a yogi into the path of truth and dharma.
