Be in fullest awareness, content with what little or lot that comes your way to enjoy life in survival, being risk-averse not to jump from the 'frying pan into the fire'.

Anything that comes one's way requires a reaction in words or deeds to preserve what one has already. Never venture into darkness for unknown dangers may be lying waiting for you. Steady on as you go. Be paranoid and appear schizophrenic to others. Be a nobody. It would save you. Interactions in Nature are impermanent and unpredictable. So be flexible to steer clear of unknown dangers. DO not trust anyone else but yourself. Know which side your bread is buttered. Be intelligent and knowledgeable. This is easier said than done because the basic functioning of the brain and associated mind is due to genetic disposition. Learning is genetic characteristic. If the genetic potential for intelligence is there all delusions can be eventually erased from the mind.

Never direct your future with a set plan for survival because reality is so impermanent that one's awareness needs to be continually monitored to act on

It is only one's own knowledge that matters, the greater its clarity the easier living becomes.

Who cares about who one is: living is about the struggle for survival as best as one can.
If one knows the value of truth, one is well positioned to never give in to tyranny: for freedom is of the utmost importance.
